Super Me

I’m Robyn Storms. Isn’t that a great name? It’s not even made up, like some have accused me of. But a few people have mentioned my name sounds like a superhero’s. Works for me. I live in Salt Lake City, UT with my husband (let’s call him Mr. S) and our puppy, Kingston Bret Michaels. Yup, I am that pet owner. But we just call him Kingston since the last part of his name embarrasses Mr. S. We just welcomed our daughter, Harley, into the world on April 30, 2011 and I couldn’t be happier. Less tired, yes, but happier, no.

I grew up in a small, northern Utah town in Happy Valley Cache Valley with 2 parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. I come in at #6, which may explain the vast amount of attention I require. I also have a half-sister, who I met for the first time in my mid-20′s, and I am the greatest aunt to 23 nieces and nephews. Yes, you read that correctly. 23. Did I also mention that I am LDS?

I love traveling, Oreos, the Yankees, a good book, and napping. Those last two usually go hand in hand, though I don’t get to do either often enough. I don’t possess typical super powers but I know a lot about celebrity gossip and can sing my way through any musical. That counts, right? I’ve been dancing since I could walk and even spent some time performing at Disney World. If you were there in 2004 and remember seeing dancing brooms in the 3:00 parade, chances are we’ve already met.

Someday I hope to become independently wealthy showcasing my talents and charm for the masses, but until that happens I work at a search marketing firm to pay the bills. And if that doesn’t work out perhaps I can convince Superman to take on a side-kick with mad skills.
